XTM integration to DITAworks Cloud and DITAworks Webtop

*instinctools will be introducing a host of new features, along with integration of XTM translation management system, in DITAworks Cloud and Webtop.

Stuttgart, Germany, April 3, 2014 – *instinctools has announced the introduction of many new features in their DITAworks Cloud and Webtop products. Foremost among these new features will be integrated localization and translation management processes as a result of the integration of XTM. The integrated DITAworks and XTM solution will enable the global players to meet their targets in terms of cost saving, reduced time-to-market and optimized quality.

XTM is a complete range of tools for the translator, reviewer and project manager. It is a fully featured computer aided translation (CAT) tool and translation management system (TMS), developed by XTM International. The timely localization of product information, while keeping quality, schedules and budgets under control is a major challenge for documentation departments.

Other notable changes and new features to be added to DITAworks Webtop and Cloud include:

• New administration module (Organization, project and user management
• Review with added option for external users
• Revised options for working with DITA Maps (text mode, possibility to edit two and more maps, problems visualization)
• Support of all popular output formats (web help, mobile, eclipse help etc.)
• Thumbnails in selectors
