New DITAworks Map Manager released based on hallway testing analysis

*instinctools to release DITAworks usability features based on hallway testing analysis and invites their users to actively take part in product requirement process. 

Stuttgart, December 19, 2014 – As the holiday season starts moving in full swing, *instinctools is delivering a new map editor and other usability improvements for their DITA CMSes, DITAworks Webtop and DITAworks Cloud. The major objective of the last release of this year has been to remove the roadblocks to a smooth DITA implementation, thereby making it easier for users to adopt DITA.

Intensive hallway testing performed by external testers, who were not involved in DITA authoring before, helped to identify most critical areas of usability. Based on these results, a priority list of requirements has been developed to ensure more intuitive interaction with DITAworks and decided that our last DITAworks release for this year will focus on usability.

A complete overhaul of the DITAworks Map Editor is a major part of the new release and will ease the working with DITA content structuring.
